Jensen hoped she’d never need Shimmerspell again, but now someone is stalking her, someone who claims to be the Lady of the Lake. To make matters worse, witches and dragons have come out to play. And Jensen must figure out how to harness her power and accept her destiny before she ends up losing everyone she loves.

 Jenny’s Review:
This short story is a next installment of A Faerie Take Girl, Jenson continues to find her way through the new world she has been thrown into. She is learning more about her world as she goes along, being introduced to new species and creatures all the time, and not always in a good way when they seem to have something they want from her. This story also deals with her growing relationship, and with the forming of a relationship with her father. Jenson always seems to be around when the trouble starts, and this book is no different.
I found this book just as enchanting as the first in the series, always wanting to know how she’s going to get herself out of this one. I was absorbed into Jensons world wanting her to know what was going to happen next, for both her, her friends, her family and her boyfriend. I find that I really do want to read the next in the series to see how everything is going to end.
I enjoyed learning new things about the already well written characters, and the introduction of new species and new problems for Jenson to solve, with or without the help of the people around her. The author did not fail to carry me along in Jensons world.
I loved how the author has continued to keep this series easily read by young adults, and how she has managed to keep Jensons world so enchanting.
Overall I would give this story 5/5 as it didn’t fail to enthrall me. Younger readers will definitely not be disappointed in this continuation of the series.
