 The Author:
A preschool teacher by day, and a wife & mom by night. Although I love all of these titles, I can now add published author to the list of things I can consider myself. I was proud the day I got married, I was proud the day I gave birth to each of my boys, (now grown men) and I was proud when I got my certification to teach. My newest accomplishment in being a published author is my latest proud moment. Writing all my life for fun, family and friends, creating my own story and original characters has been a wonderful journey, one I hope is long lived. It is what I want the rest of my life to be about.

Human Blend is the first of a trilogy of books in the romance/fantasy/science fiction genre. It is what I love to read and what I love to write. I hope you enjoy my labor of love (Source).

An idea for a book that turned into three.
The Blend Series is a Trilogy and my first foray into writing. It all began with a character, Julie, who one day appeared in my mind. I knew she was on the run, but from what? I wasn’t so sure, that is, until her story began to unfold. Now three years later, her story is complete. It’s bittersweet for me, I guess. These wonderful characters that have lived with me for so long have now gone silent. The final installment in the Blend Series; Terminal Blend, is now available. I remember typing the words, the end, and just sitting back and staring at the screen and saying to myself “That’s it, it’s over?” It made me a little sad, like I was saying goodbye to old friends. As I look back on the journey in creating this series, I can say that I’m pleased with my progress as a writer. I’ve learned a lot and can see the improvement in my writing skills. Human Blend was my first novel; where amazing characters came to life. I expanded on their origins in Earth Blend and wrapped up their lives in Terminal Blend. Even though I’m sad to see them go, I’m excited for the future. I have so many ideas and have begun writing other novels that I’m just itching to get back to but yet, I hesitate. It’s hard to let go, so do I really have to? I guess it’s up to me, maybe. Early reviews have agreed that while they loved Terminal Blend, it was sad to see the series end. So others are feeling the way I am. I’m not alone. So, who knows what the future holds, if anything, for the characters in this series. I am working on another book with new characters that have claimed my brain, but if I let myself drift back… Well, I’ll leave it at that. It’s so hard to say goodbye…
