Book Expo America (BEA) Haul
This year, I had to privilege of attending the Book Expo America (BEA) in NYC for the very first time. This convention was one that I had wanted to attend for the last three years, and I must say that the wait was WORTH IT!
Before I share my BEA book haul, I just want to take a moment to thank Cindy from Cindy’s Love of Books and Tina from Bookshipper for introducing me to BEA and giving me tips on how to have fun and enjoy the experience. You ladies were right; just by going with the flow, I had the best first-time BEA experience! Also, thank you to everyone who posted BEA tips; they helped so much!
BEA was definitely overwhelming on the first day, but it only took a few hours to get used to the large crowds and never-ending line-ups. Getting books was great, but the highlight of BEA was meeting publishers, authors, and other book lovers throughout the three days.
It was also really great finally getting to meet Grace from Books of Love after all these years talking online!
Other Bloggers I met:
The Book Smugglers
Bookcrastinators
Dear, Restless Reader
The Book Swarm
Library of a Book Witch
Xander Christou
Step Into Fiction
Kallie Ross
Pingwing’s Bookshelf
Fiction Frenzy
Petite Ame
Book and Babes
Sorry if I forgot anyone; it was so great meeting you all!
Without further ado, here is my BEA haul!

I have been dying to hear all about BEA and can’t wait to meet up so that I can hear all about it… So glad our tips helped you out hun and if I could go back in time I would certainly go back to my first BEA and redo that all over again…
No amount of preparing can get you ready for BEA and I honestly think if you go in with the mentality of going with the flow you will succeed like you did. Its great to be prepared with lists but realistically its hard to get around javitis like you know now

It was very nice to meet you in person. I think the best plan is to make one, but be prepared to go with the flow. You never know who you will end up meeting. I see that you really enjoyed it and made out with a great haul.
